i feel like there is a pipeline from electrical engineer to right wing specifically because of computer scientists acting like ee is some arcane and obsolete knowledge, leading electrical engineers to that “i’m a misunderstood genius” mentality

and frankly i sympathize with it because holy hell the amount of computer scientists who actively refuse to learn what a volt is has made me lose a lot of faith in the world as a whole
